Hey, I've got over 10,100 veiws!
Thank you everyone who reads my blog!
So here's the next part of the story, it's kinda short but at least I got past some of my writers block. I'm going to have a hard time with the next part . . .
The next morning Mallory’s alarm when off at the usual time, but today the cabin was still dark aside from a few table lamps that had been switched on. A few of the other kids in the Athena cabin were gathered around the windows murmuring. “What’s going on?” Mallory asked. “Did someone cover our windows?” It seemed like something the Hermes cabin would do.
“No,” said Lucy sounding distressed. “The sun isn’t up.”
“What?” Mallory exclaimed as she hurried over to the window to look. Sure enough it was pitch black outside, like it was still the middle of the night. “Did someone sneak in and change all our clocks?” someone asked.
“I don’t think so,” said Lucy. “Look.” There were other campers poking their heads out of their cabin doors, even a few wandering around outside. “If this is a prank it sure is an elaborate one, because all our watches say that it’s morning,” Said one of the boys.
“And no solar eclipse could make it this dark,” added a girl named Gianna. “Not to mention the fact that there won’t be a solar eclipse for a few more (years?)”
There was a knock on the door, and since she was the closest Mallory answered it. It was Jackie.
“What’s going on?” Mallory asked.
“Nobody knows,” said Jackie, “But Chiron has called everyone to the dining pavilion.”
Before Mallory could ask anything more Jackie said, “I can’t talk right now, I have to go tell more people to head to the pavilion.” Turning he saw two first year campers sneaking off toward the woods, “Hey, you two I see you! Stop right there!” he turned back to Mallory and said, “Gotta go.” Before running after the campers as they sprinted away.
“What’d he say?” Lucy asked.
“We all need to go to the dining pavilion.” Mallory said, “Hopefully Chiron knows what’s going on.”
Lucy nodded then turned to the other kids, “Athena cabin fall in!” she yelled.
The campers immediately fell into a line by who had been there longest. Mallory quickly made her way toward the back of the line. Even with a few new campers she was the very last person in line. Seniority counted but when you had more than one camper with the same seniority you went by age and since the new campers were a few months older they got to be in front of Mallory.
“We need to head down to the pavilion,” Lucy announced. “Hopefully Chiron will be able to explain what’s going on.”
“I’m hungry!” protested one of the boys.
Lucy smiled, “Perhaps breakfast will be ready.”
When they reached the dining pavilion it was noisier than any mealtime they had ever had. Everyone was talking and worrying and trying to figure out what was going on.
“Mallory!”
Mallory turned to see Helen coming toward her. Helen’s mass of ginger curls was a frizzy disaster and she was wearing the shorts she had gotten from Cassandra along with a big t-shirt that looked like she’d slept in it.
“Where’d you get that shirt?” Mallory asked.
“I borrowed it from Shawn because I didn’t have anything to sleep in, but that’s not why I came to talk to you, I had the freakiest dream last night, my dad talked to me,” She said all in one breath. “Is that normal or was it just a crazy dream?”
“Demigod dreams are always important,” said Mallory with wide eyes, “What did he say?”
“He said that Apollo has disapeared, and that I have to find him,” said Helen with a scared expression.
“Your father has given you a quest,” said Mallory in awe. “You need to tell Chiron.”

Hi guys,
I've been really busy (lol I almost misspelled busy as 'busty' glad I caught that . . .) so I haven't had to much time to work on my story. I know what I want to happen next I just have writers block on how to make it happen.
I might get some time to work on writing my story on Tuesday or Thursday but if I post anything will depend on if I get past my block and finish the instalment.
I've been so busy.
Here's what I've been doing.
- Church on Sundays
- Youth Group on Wednesdays
- Youth Ensemble on Wednesdays (singing!!!)
- Babysitting on Thursdays
- Rehersals for my church's Easter Program on various days. (I have a rehersal tomorrow!)
- Skit rehersals on various days. (I'm in two different skits for MTA's for a youth convention in April. MTA stands for Ministry Training Area)
- Library trips on free days (normaly Monday or Tuesday.
So will school added into the mix I get really busy.
I'll also be gone on Friday and Saturday for a Bible Quizing trip.
I get to go with my church's Bible Quizing teams to a national quiz where our teams could win a trophy!
It will be fun.
So we leave Friday afternoon and drive down to the church where the quiz is being held. People from that church are taking us into their homes for the night.
All morning and afternoon Saturday is the quiz.
Then Saturday evening we leave for home and get back to our church sometime around 12:30 AM!
Then I'm going to a friend's house to sleep (because she and her two sisters are also going on the quiz so it will be easier for me to go to their house so that my mom doesn't have to pick me up from church at 12:30 in the morning.)
Then I will have to get up at 7:10 in the morning to get ready for church.
I might fall asleep during the sermon. . . . I hope not though.
So yeah, I'm fairly busy this week.
Then next weekend I have 'Girl's Night' at our church and another Easter program rehersal.
Also, check out this drawning it's Leo (PJO) and Edward and Winry! (FMA) I only put down the link since I'm not supposed to save pictures to my mom's laptop.

Hi! Sorry that I didn't post for a while. I just started this new manga called Fullmetal Alchemist and it's awesome. So instead of working on my fan-fic I was reading.
I've read 9 volumes so far and I can't wait to get volumes 10,11 and 12.
When my order from the library comes in I'll probably read them before I write more.
But 3 volumes of manga is nothing for me, I can read one volume in 20 minuets. I was just not posting for a while 'cuz I had volumes 1-9 all at once.
Anyway here's the next instalment of Second Generation Demigods that ya'll've been waiting for.
(Yes I say ya'll. I lived in Texas for 5 years.)
“I am?” Helen said, “Is that a bad thing?”
“No,” Cassandra answered, “I just don’t get why people didn’t make a big deal about it. Chiron didn’t even say anything. So we get a child of Zeus and nobody thinks it’s a big deal, then along comes mister son of a demigod and a goddess and we get everyone whispering and wondering.” She complained, “I just don’t get it.”
Helen nodded, “He totally stole my thunder.”
Mallory laughed, “Stole your thunder? Get it, thunder? Child of Zeus, god of storms . . .” She trailed off because Helen and Cassandra were giving her weird looks.
“Don’t worry,” Hannah said, “I thought you were funny.”
“Anyway,” Cassandra said, “Maybe Chiron will say something at breakfast tomorrow. After all that’s when we have a welcome ceremony to announce all the new demigods. Not everyone shows up for the campfire and since it’s new demigods first meals with their siblings we like to make a big deal about it.”
“A welcome ceremony?” Hannah asked.
“Yeah,” said Cassandra, “Every first year camper gets introduced in front of everyone.” She turned to Mallory. “And that includes you.”
“Me?” Mallory asked, “But I’ve been here before, people know me.”
“Not everyone.” Said Cassandra, “And since this is your first whole summer you get to be introduced.”
Mallory grimaced; she didn’t like the idea of being introduced in front of everyone.
(NOTE: I have no idea why it suddenly changes the type of text and I can't figure out how to fix it.)
Soon they stopped in front of cabin 16, Hecate.
“This is your cabin, Hannah,” Said Mallory.
“It’s shaped like a castle . . .” said Hannah as she stared in awe.
“It’s also built out of dangerous magic rocks,” supplied Cassandra, “If one breaks it will either explode or turn everyone within a mile into a flower.”
“Whoa,” said Hannah. She opened the door and was greeted by some of her siblings. She turned back to the other girls. “Goodnight,” she said, “See you guys tomorrow!”
“Goodnight!” chorused Mallory, Cassandra and Helen.
“So how are the cabins arranged?” asked Helen as they started walking again.
“Odd numbers for the gods, even numbers for the goddesses,” Said Cassandra.
“Except Dionysus,” said Mallory, “Hecate gave up her throne for him when he became a god so he also got her cabin here. So his cabin is number 12 and it’s on the girl’s side.”
“Are they in any particular order?” Helen asked.
“We’ll Zeus is cabin one and Hera is cabin two, since they’re King and Queen of the gods, but I don’t know how the order of the other cabins was decided,” Said Mallory.
“I don’t know either,” Cassandra interjected, “But in number order for the first wing they go Zeus, Hera, Poseidon, Ares, Athena, Apollo, Artemis, Hephaestus, Aphrodite, Hermes, Dionysus, Hades, Hestia, Hypnos, Hecate, Aeolus, and then Iris.”
“That’s a lot of cabins,” Said Helen.
Mallory nodded and said, “And we have two more wings. Well wing three only has two cabins so far, as I mentioned earlier but soon we’ll be building a cabin for Eirene.”
“Wow,” said Helen.
“Oh look,” said Cassandra as they reached the Aphrodite cabin. “This is my stop. See you guys tomorrow!” she waved then rushed inside.
Mallory looked at her watch, “We’d better hurry,” she said, “Curfew is in two minutes.”
“What happens if we miss curfew?” asked Helen as they started walking.
“Well,” began Mallory. “The harpies are allowed to eat us.”
“Harpies?”
“They’re like a cross between shriveled old ladies and chickens,” explained Mallory.
“Gross, they like to eat demigods?”
Mallory nodded and as they reached the lower numbered cabins she pointed out number one. “That’s your cabins. The only other person in there is Cassandra’s brother Shawn. He’s cool but kind of lazy unless he’s playing sports or competing in something.”
Helen nodded, “See you tomorrow then.”
Mallory smiled, “I’ll be in cabin six if you need me and my brother is right next to you in cabin three.”
Each girl headed into her own cabin, waving before closing the door just as the conch horn signaled curfew.

After the campfire Mallory was walking back to the cabins
with Cassandra, Helen and Hannah.
“Did you know that you’re the first
child of Zeus since the Big Three pact was removed?” Cassandra asked Helen.“I am?” Helen said, “Is that a bad thing?”

I don't have any more story for you today but I found some good pictures that describe Charles and Shawn.
Also, look up SOPA. It's something that I've been hearing about. It stands for Stop Online Piracy Act and I don't know how old the thing is or if it's even being considered anymore but it would make writing fan-fiction a felony.

Here's Mallory's older brother Charles. He's 15. He can't control water but I liked the pic. |
And this is Cassandra's older brother Shawn. He's also 15. I thought that this picture captured his laziness. He's sporty but he is not a morning person. |

My problem: I like days when I don't have to babysit (for whatever reason. Today it was that another one of the kids has the stomach flu) But I like getting money.
See how that's a problem?
Anyway, here's the next instalment!
It's kinda short compared to some of the others though.

“Well
that explains a lot,” Said Hannah after she had sat back down.
“What do you mean?” inquired Helen.
“Well, sometimes I’ve made people see things that aren’t there,” Hannah explained. “Especially my teachers in grade school,” she added with an evil grin.
“Wow,” said Mallory, “Most demigods who have powers don’t discover them before coming to camp.”
“Cool,” said Helen. “Can you do it now?”
“It doesn’t work all the time,” confessed Hannah.
“You probably need to practice more,” said Cassandra, “I’m sure the older campers in your cabin will help you learn more.”
Once more the music and talking was interrupted by yet another claiming. This time it was a holograph of a peace symbol over the head of a camper way in the back row.
“Which god is that?” asked someone.
“Eirene, goddess of Peace,” Called out an Athena camper.
“Know-it-alls,” Cassandra muttered under her breath only to be elbowed by Mallory.
“Stand up!” someone called out.
Reluctantly the camper stood, it was Ben.
Weird, thought Mallory, Legacies don’t normally get claimed.
People were whispering and trying to get someone near Ben to announce him as a new camper but nobody knew his name.
Finally Chiron tapped a hoof once. “Ben di Angelo,” he announced. “Son of Eirene, Legacy of Hades.”
This time there was no cheering, bowing or clapping. Immediately the campers began whispering, wondering if this kid was really the son of Nico di Angelo, one of the great heroes who had battled Gaea and saved both the mortal and immortal worlds.
Mallory watched as Ben awkwardly sat down again. Son of Eirene? She wondered. Hadn’t he said that his mother was a demigod, a daughter of Eirene? But Chiron had said ‘son’. If he had meant ‘legacy’ he would have said it. He had lied to her. That was the only explanation.
So if Ben’s father was a demigod, and his mother was a goddess what did that make him? He wasn’t a demigod but he wasn’t exactly a Legacy either. Mallory didn’t know. This was the first child of a demigod and a goddess that she had ever heard of. No one else seemed to have heard of something like this as everyone was still whispering, even Chiron and Mr. D.
“I thought he said that his mom was a demigod,” Said Helen.
“He did,” grumbled Mallory.
“So he lied?” asked Hannah.
Mallory looked over toward Ben, he seemed really confused. “Or maybe he didn’t.”
“I’m confused, how couldn’t he have lied?” asked Helen.
“Maybe Ben believed that his mother was a demigod,” said Mallory, “Maybe it was his father who lied.”
“What do you mean?” inquired Helen.

Hi there, I have the next part of the story all ready for you!
Also, as my sister pointed out, in my last post I didn't post any pictures of either Charles or Cassandra's brother, Shawn. If I find any good pic's for them I'll share them.

After dinner Hannah and Helen
caught up with Mallory on the way to the campfire. “Is it okay if we sit with
you?” Hannah asked, “Or will we be separated by cabins again?”
Mallory smiled, “You can sit wherever you want at the campfire, and it’s perfectly fine with me if you want to sit with me.”
“Will we get claimed?” Helen asked.
“You should, all the gods are required to claim their kids.”
“Whoa,” Said Hannah as they came up to the campfire, “It’s purple.”
“It’s magic.” Mallory explained, “It changes color with the mood of the crowd, it also gets higher and hotter if people are in a good mood.”
“Sweet.” Said Hannah and Helen in unison.
They were some of the first demigods there and were able to snag good seats in the second row. “Sometimes the first row’s marshmallows catch on fire.” Said Mallory.
“On time the fire was so hot that the first three rows had flaming marshmallows!” added Cassandra as she sat down beside Helen.
“Wow,” Said Hannah, “Maybe we should move back?”
“What? These are prime seats, we should hold on to them for as long as we can.” Cassandra said.
Helen and Hannah looked confused.
“Sometimes older campers make the younger campers move,” explained Mallory, “But if we can hold onto them until Chiron gets here we won’t have to move.”
“Do the older campers really bully the younger campers a lot?” asked Helen.
“Nah, most of the older campers are cool. It’s really only the Ares campers that are bullies.”
Soon the rest of the campers filled in and the Apollo kids started tuning their instruments.
“What’s with the instruments?” asked Hannah, grimacing as one boy blew a harsh high note while tuning his harmonica.
“Sing-along time!” exclaimed Cassandra and Mallory in unison.
“Oh great,” moaned Helen, “I cannot sing to save my life.”
“You guys hold my seat,” said Cassandra, standing. “I’m going to snag us some s’more’s supplies.”
“Sure thing.” Said Mallory as she pulled her feet up onto the bench were Cassandra had been sitting.
Charles spotted Mallory as he went to sit with his friends; he waved and called, “Hi, Mallory.”
Mallory waved back despite Helen poking her.
“Oooh, is that your boyfriend?” Helen asked as soon as Charles was out of earshot.
Mallory pretended to gag and fall of the bench. “That was my brother!”
“Well he sure is cute.”
Cassandra came back over and passed out marshmallows and sticks. “Sorry Helen, but Charles is mine.” She glanced back toward him, “He just doesn’t know it yet.”
The girls all dissolved into giggles.
Helen and Hannah were amazed at how good the Apollo kids were when the music started.
“How’d they get so good?” Hannah asked.
“Their father, Apollo, is the god of music.” Explained Cassandra.
As the night went on everyone had a great time, even Helen and Hannah laughed as they tried to sing along to the songs without knowing the words.
Every so often the music and singing would pause as a new camper got claimed.
“Gods of Olympus,” Said Cassandra, “We sure got a bunch of new campers this year.”
Mallory nodded. When she looked over at Hannah and Helen they both looked eager to be claimed and perhaps a bit worried that maybe they wouldn’t get claimed.
Mallory was just about to reassure them when a holographic image appeared above Helen’s head.
“What?” asked Helen as the music and singing stopped and everyone looked at her. She twisted and tried to look at the now fading image of a lightning bolt. Cassandra and Mallory grabbed Helen’s arms and hoisted them up, forcing to her to stand. “Helen, daughter of Zeus.” They shouted. All the campers stood, bowed then clapped and cheered as was camp practice.
Cassandra hugged Helen as they sat back down. “This means we’re related!” she squealed.
“What?” asked Helen, “I thought you were a daughter of Aphrodite.”
“I’m a Legacy,” said Cassandra, “My parents are demigods. My father is a son of Zeus and my mother is a daughter of Aphrodite. So since you’re my dad’s half-sister,” she paused and made a face, “Weird but that makes you my half-aunt.”
“Whoa, that is weird,” Said Helen. “So you’re my half-niece but your older than I am.”
“Wait,” interrupted Hannah, “I thought the godly side didn’t count. Or else we’d all be related somehow.”
“It only counts if you have a parent in common. All children of the same god or goddess are half-siblings,” Said Mallory. “But things like Poseidon and Zeus being brothers doesn’t make their children cousins.”
“What about Legacies?” asked Helen, “If you have the same god in your family tree are you related?”
“I guess that would depend on how far back it is,” said Cassandra, “If two Legacies are descended from Apollo but there’s like fifteen generations of different demigod and mortal parents it probably wouldn’t count. I don’t really know.”
“Our generation is the first generation of Legacies at Camp Half-Blood.” Said Mallory.
Their conversation was interrupted by another new demigod was claimed, a child of Hermes. And as soon as his holograph disappeared, one appeared over Hannah’s head. An image of some sort of animal, a Meer cat maybe?
“What?” asked Hannah.
“I have no idea.” Said Mallory, but you’ve been claimed by someone.
“It’s a polecat,” Called out a boy in the crowd. “One of the sacred animals of Hecate.”
“Hecate?” Hannah asked but Mallory didn’t answer. Instead she and the person on Hannah’s other side pulled Hannah to her feet and lifted her arms. “Hannah, daughter of Hecate, goddess of Magic!” they announced.
Mallory smiled, “You can sit wherever you want at the campfire, and it’s perfectly fine with me if you want to sit with me.”
